About Us

Who We Are

Our team members have decades of experience in assisting clients in the most serious of situations, including major incidents such as fatalities, medical incidents and medical repatriations.

Our 24-hour communications centre is fully operational when clients are overseas. The centre is manned by Remote Area medics who also have significant operational, crisis and remote area expertise. Access to our Remote Area Doctor Telemedicine service is available by prior arrangement.

Team members also have significant expertise in dealing with the media (press releases and dealing direct with the media) in the aftermath of numerous major incidents, assisting clients at a time when they are very vulnerable and need experienced, expert support rather than the services of untried and untested service providers.

Ideally, we will work with the client in advance of any incident occurring, assisting them in testing the robustness, resilience and appropriateness of their existing procedures and advising as to necessary amendments. We deliver a range of key training courses and services in this area (including utilising existing services such as the client's own medical service provider in country e.g. International SOS for realism):

  • Drafting crisis and incident plans
  • Reviewing existing plans
  • Communications training
  • Field based incident training
  • Simultaneous field and desktop office based exercises
  • Media response training
  • Post incident investigation
  • Learning the lessons from incidents and implementing changes
